As a Project Coordinator in our Program Management Office, Ishara Perera plays a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects within the advisory, performance, selection, conversion, and technology practices, working diligently to keep projects on track, on time, and within budget. She brings over a decade of experience supporting information technology projects within the banking and insurance industries. She began her career as a Business Analyst at renowned firms like J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and General Reinsurance, where she contributed to initiatives that improved processes in equities trading, credit risk management, and regulatory compliance. Over the years, Ishara expanded her expertise to include project coordination, working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams across IT, operations, finance, marketing, and vendors. Her role has also encompassed testing, quality assurance, production support, and training for technology-related projects.
Ishara holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing, as well as an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma. Her commitment to excellence is further demonstrated through her membership in the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business.
